Sierra Salser
Founder & Principal Advisor
Spice Strategies was founded on the belief that every organization reaches a point where success depends not only on expertise, but on perspective.
Founder and Principal Advisor Sierra Salser has spent nearly a decade advising organizations navigating complexity across the nonprofit, corporate, philanthropic, and public sectors. Throughout her career, she has helped executive leaders strengthen organizational positioning, cultivate strategic partnerships, navigate sensitive communications, and identify opportunities for long-term growth.
Prior to founding Spice Strategies, Sierra served as an Account Director at Fenton, where she advised nationally recognized organizations including Color Of Change, W.K. Kellogg Foundation, Annie E. Casey Foundation, Equal Justice USA, Children’s Aid, and numerous civic and advocacy initiatives. Her work has supported executive leadership, national campaigns, coalition building, crisis communications, stakeholder engagement, and reputation strategy.
Sierra’s work has earned national visibility through respected traditional media outlets including The Washington Post, The New York Times, Politico, CNN, MSNBC, and The Guardian, reflecting a career built on trusted communications, thoughtful strategy, and enduring relationships. As today’s media landscape continues to evolve, she helps clients build communications strategies that integrate the credibility of earned media with the reach, community, and influence of today’s digital platforms.
Today, Sierra works with founders, executives, and organizations seeking a trusted strategic partner—someone who can connect ideas across industries, identify opportunities others overlook, and bring together the relationships, positioning, and strategy necessary to move organizations forward with confidence.
“I left the machine to build something real from scratch. This work is personal, and it’s powerful. Because when we control our stories, we control our futures.” - Sierra Salser
